21 weeks PG - horrendously painful left breast

I'm 21 weeks, currently got some sort of cold and virus courtesy of DP and DS, but when I woke up this morning my left breast is extremely painful. The nipple is the worst but it radiates around the whole breast area.

I had similar after having DS when my milk came in, but I'm definitely not engorged or lactating so a little worried about what this may be? Mastitis?

Seek a medical opinion if you're worried, but I did have one boob (in my case my right) that seemed to have a growth spurt at 20 odd weeks and was quite painful. It seems to have settled now.

I went to the dr for this but i had swollen under arms too there saying its jyst pregnancy related but cant seem to shift its something more sinister as my mum has just been diagnosed with a tumour in her chest.

BUT i suffer anxiety and i know when I've returned to a rational state that breast changes happen during pregnancy also i am leaking tiny amounts of colostrum lol so it may be that your breast is just gearing up hun xx
