I had two embryos implanted, and I felt what I can only describe as burrowing inside me, like a scratching digging in feeling, in two different spots. Got my bfp, fast forward 6 weeks to the first scan, and there were two little babies, who are now 10 months old.

I was surprised when the scan confirmed two babies even though I’d felt them, and am still at times surprised now!

@MuchTooTired that sounds amazing. Congrats to you. I can feel that kind of burrowing, its not painful but just like something is moving around but not exactly.. I hope im making sense. had a little cramp, nothing painful, and since then now and again I feel it, especially when im sitting down. at times if Im sitting forward feels like im squashing something! too early for me to test as im only on 3 weeks, and this only started happening yesterday.. really dont know what to expect!!

I can’t say for sure if it was implantation but I agree a little burrowing - like an internal scratching - like I’ve jever felt before or since. As soon as I felt it I sort of knew I was pregnant, told myself not to be stupid but it turns out I was so who knows!

anonymous06 · 17/12/2018 20:33

@GrubbyHipsterBeard amazing, it probably was. Do you remember how long after this you tested and got your BFP?

I know they say you can't feel it but all three times I have felt a little weird twinge inside the day before getting a BFP

GrubbyHipsterBeard · 17/12/2018 20:37

I think it was about 4 days! However for me it was only quite a quick thing, a few seconds. I hope you get your BFP, let us know!

PeachMelba78 · 17/12/2018 20:44

I had cramping and it felt a lot like my at home insemination, sort of period type cramps.

They also gave me a hormone shot to help the embryo ‘stick’ which caused bloating - which never went!
I tested at +7 days after implantation and got a BFP and when I went back to the clinic I was already doing the hairband on trouser button trick!

I actually got early pregnancy symptoms with both pregnancies, cramping, slight bleed, discharge etc.

Good luck!

I do have many other symptoms to, but the thing is im on my last month of nexplanon, so it could also be the hormones.. some of these have subsided a little..

nausea all day pretty much
headaches
heartburn now and again
bloated
the thought of cooking or smell of food is making me sick. same as first pregnancy
wanting to eat granny smith apples or sour stuff. same as first pregnancy
colostrum in my left breast, when squeezed. I stopped breastfeeding my youngest who is 3, at 6 months.. now also in my right breast!

so.. yeah dont really know what to think.. my periods have gone back to being regular few months ago.. so can't say if nexplanon is still working. I threw all this off to begin with but when I started feeling the sensations.. I thought, nothing is impossible.

I didn’t have any hormones prior to implantation which made it ‘clearer’ for me IYSWIM.
How many days post implantation are you?

anonymous06 · 17/12/2018 21:09

@PeachMelba yeah I totally see what you mean, which is why im not getting my hopes up. ive had scares before but never as long/strong as this. they only ever lasted a day. this has been a week, and hasn't stopped. the implantation feeling only started yesterday, and since then I have felt it on/off.. no sign of AF, last period was 23/11. so that makes me roughly 3 weeks, if anything .. but like I say.. could be hormones playing up.. either way, if pregnant it will show eventually

So you are +7 days post implantation? I had to test, I was very impatient, and the symptoms were very strong. It was great to tell the parents just 1 week after the transfer (I’m a surrogate) and my kids were super excited!
When will you test?

neversleepagain · 17/12/2018 21:15

I felt implantation with my twins too. I was reading in bed and felt a very quick but very sharp pain in my side, it made me gasp. A few seconds later the same quick pain. It made me stop and think wtf was that!? That was about 5dpo and I tested positive at 9dpo. Twins confirmed at 13 week scan. I also ovulated on both sides that month, my ovulation is very painful and obvious. I have double ovulated for as long as I can remember and still do.

anonymous06 · 17/12/2018 21:16

@PeachMelba78 I think I will give it a few days to a week to test, unless u think I must be crazy.. and can't possibly be pregnant :)

I was advised to test +9 days, but I couldn’t wait! I definitely think you should test, fingers crossed! 🤞

anonymous06 · 17/12/2018 21:24

@PeachMeblba78 I know it sounds mad because im on the last month of nexplanon, but I know people who have become pregnant on it waaaay before it came to an end, and also people who got pregnant just before its replaced..

im hoping that my symptoms are viable enough.. I hope..

I keep feeling the sensations now and again.. today it has been a lot more, yesterday I just felt it once and it lasted about 30 seconds to a minute.. and I know the difference between my PMS cramps and this.. and it defo does not feel anything compared to PMS..
