Just thought I'd make a post to catch up with those who are due in may!

How's everyone feeling?
Have you had your 20 week scan?
How's your bump?
Feeling movements?
Know what sex your baby is?

I'm so excited to be almost half way through! Got my 20 week scan on Wednesday I can't wait to see how much my little bean has grown since my last scan 7 weeks ago 😍 decided to stay team yellow 💛

Bump is slowly growing and finally starting to feel some movement, still don't feel pregnant though!

Hey there. I'm due may 22. Tiredness has definetly improved, feeling some movement for sure but no definite kicks! Bump slowly but surely starting to make an appearance!! Have my 20 wk scan early Jan at 21weeks due to xmas holiday closure. Hope everyone else doing well

Hiya

I'm due 24th May. feeling deceptively ok the last couple of weeks. Bit tired perhaps (and that increased over the weekend) but mainly feeling normal and most of the time not really feeling pregnant at all!

20 week scan is on 4th January so something to look forward to after Christmas. Quite nervous but all was well at midwife appointment last week and we heard the heartbeat so no reason to think anything has gone wrong. Just the usual nerves I think.

Bump isn't really noticeable (but I'm quite cuddly anyway!) so I'm still in my usual clothes. Weirdly my trousers fit better than they did before 12 weeks as the initial terrible bloating has gone down. I can feel there is definitely a bump under the blubber but nobody else would know.

I'm not feeling movements yet but really hoping to soon. I thought I felt something when I was driving last week but I could have been imagining it and I haven't felt it again yet.

We don't know the sex of the baby and are planning to keep it a surprise. Mostly decided on name options but could change still.

Can't wait to be half way. The first 12 weeks really dragged but since then time has moved a lot faster. Not sure if it's the effect of Christmas or just having the initial scan and worry out of the way.

Hope everyone else keeping well.

Hello!
I'm due 26th May. My 20w scan is on Jan 10th! Can't wait!! I'm feeling little pops of movement if that makes sense lol still absolutely knackered (I am working a lot though...) but not feeling sick any more thankfully!! Aches and pains around belly but nothing too harsh other than wanting to hibernate!! My bump is massive - it's my first. Actually quick question to the rest of you...since the past couple of days if I lean forward my bump feels not as solid as before and feels like when I lean forward 'a ball' inside sloshes forward. If that makes sense...Does that sound normal? xxx

Ooo I'm due 8th may so a little sooner than you guys! I didn't get to hear my baby's heart beat at my 16 week midwife appointment so feeling a little nervous for my scan hoping everything is ok x

Hello! I’m due 14th May and have been feeling movements the past week- it made me jump at first.

Not sure re ball sloshing. I have Defs noticed a belly bulge when lying down though, not sure where it came from!

My 20 week scan is Xmas eve and will be finding out gender. So excited!!

loupelou7 · 17/12/2018 22:09

What a good idea! I'm due early May, had my 20 week scan today and I'm having a boy!
I've been feeling him move since about 16 weeks and it's getting stronger and stronger daily! Definately have a bump now too which is exciting!
I'm a little baffled about the whole monitoring the movements thing though, am I supposed to be counting kicks once they start or looking at times of day he is more active, both of these things or neither?! And do you start monitoring from when you start feeling movement? I remember my midwife saying monitor from 24 weeks but I can feel him loads already!

mommysharkdodo · 17/12/2018 22:27

Aww how lovely finding out so close to Christmas! I have posted my scan on a few nub prediction pages on Facebook and majority guesses are boy, Iv always called it him and he so I think il be a little surprised if it comes out a girl lol!
I'm not sure about the whole counting kicks thing either my midwife didn't even ask me if I'd felt movement yet at my last appointment, I will ask about that at my scan on Wednesday and update!

I put my scan pic on a few sites too and the majority of people who replied said they thought he was a girl! So I was quite surprised when they said he is a he!!
Thank you that would be great! Good luck for Wednesday Smile

I'm due 24th May, still a couple of weeks until the 20 week scan. My midwife is on leave all of December so I haven't heard the heartbeat since the 12 week scan, feeling a bit nervous as my symptoms have mostly gone now and I'm not sure if the movements I'm feeling are baby or just things rearranging internally. My family have a higher chance of miscarriage and some of my relatives have miscarried at 16 weeks so I'm finding it hard to wait to see if everything's still okay.

Hope everyone's scans go well! Does anyone else have a massive bump already?

goneswimming · 18/12/2018 22:23

Hello everyone! I'm due 31st May (but our son came at 37 weeks, so I'm not necessarily expecting to last that long!)
Looking huge already, haven't felt any kicks yet though, I'm really looking forward to them!

mommysharkdodo · 18/12/2018 23:35

Is anyone else's skin extremely itchy? Like I am itchy absolutely everywhere, I know you itch when your body in stretching but I am constantly itchy all over my body atm! Once I start itching I can't stop it's driving me mad 😩 going to ask about it at my scan tomorrow!

I'm due on the 10th and have my scan on Friday. I've been bloody lucky symptoms wise, apart from swollen gums which has kicked my arse into arranging a dentist appointment. Despite my anterior placenta, I am feeling kicks

afictionado · 19/12/2018 03:15

@mommysharkdodo I'd give your midwife or GP a call or visit just in case it's intrahepatic cholestasis.

I'm due May 12th :) scan on Friday. Have a podge but wouldn't say it's a proper bump yet. I have felt little nudges and wiggles and even saw something pop out on Monday which was the best moment ever! Really anxious for scan!! We already know the sex as we had a private at 17 weeks but waiting to have it confirmed xx
