When to buy nursing bras

Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions about nursing bras and could do with some MN wisdom. I am 25 weeks pg with my first and large chested (I've gone from 30GG to 30H/J). I live abroad in a country where bras over a D cup don't exist so tend to shop in Bravissimo when I am in the UK. I prefer not to buy online as I invariably end up sending things back so prefer to try them on in store.
I'm going to be back over Christmas but wonder if it is too soon to by nursing bras? Did you change cup size a lot in the third trimester? I won't be back again before I'm due so want to take advantage but also don't want to end up with £££ bras that don't fit in April!
Thanks for reading this far and TIA for any advice!

Hmmm. Best time to be honest is once your milk supply has settled a bit and until then use more flexible options like feeding crop tops. I went from 28d pre pregnancy to 30f then to 30h when first feeding before settling to 30g. I ended up buying new bras again once my milk settled.

Thanks, I might hold off for now then and just order online later on in a couple of different sizes to try. I'll investigate nursing crop tops too - yet another thing I didn't even know existed!

I've been told they keep changing, I was planning to buy nursing bras as maternity but luckily I found this out first! I was a 30gg too so expecting both to cost me a fortune Xmas Confused

@Lastbustowhitehawk search molke for nursing bra/ crop tops. They are ace.

Yes I’d suggest waiting till maybe a month in to breastfeeding. It’s not just your boobs, your rib cage can expand a lot during pregnancy and throw sizing off.

Thanks will do!

I got some soft cup non-wired bras at 10 weeks when my boobs got a bit sore, expecting them not to last long but actually they fitted me until the end of breastfeeding. I was surprised.

Haha Iv only come on to comment that your lucky your band size hasn't increased. Mine has to a 34 already only 21wks.
Wish there was some good pregnancy bras that were comfortable and OK under clothes.

I second Molke bras - totally wonderful!

Thanks everyone for your replies, Molke looks like a winner!
