Blocked ear?

The past 2 weeks I've had a horrible cold!
Such as sore throat, cough, runny nose etc.

My ears started popping but luckily it never turned into a full on earache

Now my left ear is constantly blocked! It's so muffled all I can hear is my breathing. It feels like water is trapped and it's so uncomfortable.

Anyone else had the same thing? Some more tips would help!

Yes! I had a cold and once that resolved my left ear was completely blocked. I couldn't hear what my husband was saying and it made us very strained!
Anyway I went t the doc and he said olive oil drops for 7 days then come in for ear syringing...skthough he said I may not need it. I was sceptical but 5 days in putting them in day abd night and its 90 percent better... Doesn't need syringing! You can get the drops from your chemist without the prescription.

Try holding your nose and blowing. . The only thing that worked for me. Might have to do it every hour if the tube isn't inflating (or whatever the doctor said to me)
