Spotting during third pregnancy (two miscarriages before)

I'm 36, no DCs.I fell pregnant in April 2017, but found out no HB at 12 weeks scan, the baby stopped around 8 weeks,had to go through ERPC.

My second pregnancy started spotting around 7 weeks and get heavier and heavier, went to EPU for a scan, no HB, baby stopped around 8 weeks again. A few days later, I miscarried naturally in July 2018.

Now I'm pregnant, only 5 weeks + 4, but I'm spotting for nearly a week, had a scan on Friday, can only see a empty sac, need to go back in 2 weeks time for another scan. But I'm petrified, I am scared it follows the same pattern as my second miscarriage.

I am not sure whether I should start to take progesterone, but my GP refuses to give me the prescription. I feel so helpless. Do not know want I can do.

You could ask the GP for a referral, maybe a consultant in the fertility area would prescribe.
