Clearblue conception indicator 3+ 9 duo

I had my last period on 21st of November. My cycle is usually 28-29 days. I know I ovulated on 5th of Dec. Last 3-4 days I feel very tired and sick. I bought a First response early detection tests and did two yesterday afternoon (8 dpo) and they both came up with clear strong BFP. Today I did two Clearblue conception indicator, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and both came back as 3+. Is this normal? This is my second pregnancy. With my first I tested on the day of my missed period and came BFP, but I never tested earlier so I don't know what to expect.

As in it is showing 3+ weeks on the indicator at 8dpo? If so no that's not normal. You would expect 1-2 weeks then and not 3+ until you're around 5 weeks from last period. Are you sure you couldn't have got pregnant last month? I continued to bleed during my pregnancies so if I wasn't testing I could have easily mistaken one of these bleeds as a period.

That's not normal for a genuine period of the 21st.

Sounds like you were pregnant before that. I would get checked out.

Don’t want to panic you as it’s far more likely to be a dates thing... but do twins run in your family? Twins is also a possibility since the HCG levels are higher and make it seem further a long in the pregnancy

No, not normal. Possibilities (in no order):

• you are more pregnant than you think
• inaccurate test (do another, preferably another brand)
• twins
• molar pregnancy

We've TTC last month and I did one test before AF but it was neg. And I assumed that I was not pregnant. My first pregnancy was with twins.. but I was diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome, and after laser surgery we lost one of the twins :( Long story...
Now when I think about it my last period was lighter and lasted 3-4 days out of regular 5. But last couple of days I had pinkish discharge which I was thinking is implantation bleeding.

I'd go to your GP and ask if they can arrange an early scan for you.

Hi Ladies,

Just to give you an update. I had an early scan today and there is a gestational sac and a yolk sac. The size of the gestational sac confirmed that I am around 4-5 weeks pregnant. Very confused. Did another pregnancy test today and it came back instantly pregnant 3+ again. I have another scan on 30th of Dec. Fingers crossed everything is ok and to hear a heartbeat.
