Please don’t worry, 90% of low placentas move up by 32 weeks. Mine was discovered at a 26 week scan and 1cm away from cervix. My dr wasn’t concerned but did say that if I get bleeding I should let the hospital know I have a low placenta.

Luckily I didn’t have any problems, not even spotting. By 31 weeks it was much further up and by 37 weeks it’s basically on the same height as my liver.

If it’s actually covering the cervix then you might need to be a bit careful about not triggering any bleeds (pelvic rest, no heavy lifting, exercise etc).

Thank you @pomfluff I was panicking a little. I really want to have a natraual birth as this is the last one and I had a lovely experience the last two times. I will try not to worry ans carry on until next scan

I have low lying placenta or placenta previa. Not sure if same thing.

I think at that stage it's not a massive concern as they do tend to move so fingers crossed.

Did they give you and information leaflet at your scan? I think the main thing is if you bleed to go straight to hospital. They may advise you to lay off sex.
