Loss of pregnancy symptoms

Hi everyone, I'm going to start off by saying I'm not sure how far gone I am, I estimate it to be around 9 or 10 weeks, but over the last 2 days, my pregnancy symptoms have suddenly gone, no nausea, hunger, soreness or aching. Some tiredness but that's about it. There have been no really signs of miscarriage other than some mild cramping and nothing else.

Has anyone had this and gone on to have a healthy baby? Did your symptoms come back?

Hi Jummynbean, so I have had a combination of both. I have pretty severe nausea with all my pregnancies. I ended up going to see the doctor as on both pregnancies as my symptoms completely disappeared for a couple of days but they did come back. I have also had two miscarriages at 9 or 10 weeks and what I would say is, for the miscarriages although they subsided my symptoms were never that strong to begin with, almost like it didn't properly get started. Basically what I am saying is, if you have no bleeding etc then try and relax. If you can't relax (like me!) go for a private scan, there is nothing wrong with being impatient! Pregnancy definitely plays with your mind!

Hi, I was exactly the same at 9-10 weeks. Pregnancy symptoms can come and go! last week I felt nothing all my symptoms had gone and today I've had nausea and my headaches are back. Take it easy and don't over think (all mums to be do) and don't google! My midwife told me google is evil and makes you worry even more. Good luck :)

Mine have come and gone.

They completely disappeared the couple of weeks before I had a scan at 8 weeks. I was sure that there would be no heartbeat (been there before) but all was OK.

I'm 15 weeks now and as far as I know, so far all Ok. Getting anxious now as it's been 3 weeks since my last scan.

I think you just have to try and not worry too much about it and just go day to day.

If you are very concerned and can afford it, book a private reassurance scan - then you'll know if things are/aren't OK

Thank you all so much for your reassuring words. S1981, very sorry to hear about your miscarriages, how many kids do you have now? I have booked an early scan now just so I can stop tormenting myself. I'm so glad to hear everything turned out okay. @alexmorrisx and @kingofthemountains.

Hi Jummynbean, good idea with the scan and as everyone says the symptoms come and go so the chances are everything will be fine. I have two children now (just realised I did a typo in another thread you commented on and forgot a child - whoops!). Do let us know how you get on with your scan and fingers are crossed that the good old nausea and exhaustion will be back with a vengeance tomorrow!! With my first pregnancy I once booked a doctor appt at 8.30 as my symptoms had disappeared. Cancelled it at 10am when I was feeling as sick as a dog - pregnancy takes paranoid to a whole new level and everyone is the same. X

Thanks @s1981. Still nothing today .... ill Let you know how I get on X

I had this, any early symptoms I had were very mild anyway but once I reached about 9 weeks I had nothing. I was so anxious for my 12 week scan because I was convinced there would be nothing in there! But there she was whizzing all around in there doing somersaults! I did have the cramps you describe too, like bad period pains. I had those on and off for months. Just your uterus making way for baby!

Jummynbean · 16/12/2018 05:28

Thank you @witchy89 very reassuring and glad everything was okay for you too x

Hi Jummynbean, just thought I’d follow up to see if you’ve had your scan? Hope all is ok. X.

Hi @s1981, it's not till 8pm tomorrow (Thursday) but thanks for checking in :) I have to say that there have been little signs of my symptoms coming back, just different to what they were before, so hopefully that's good news!

Really lovely news! X

Congratulations, I'm glad everything is ok.

I was the same with my babies, I was told it's about the time the placenta takes over and everything stabilises.
