Exercise during the 2WW?

Hi all - thought I’d put this in the pregnancy group as hoping for some advice from those who have been through it!

I am a keen runner and go to the gym quite a lot but since TTC i worry a lot about running during the 2WW after ovulation. There’s so so much information online about it, a lot of it conflicting, which is just so unhelpful!

Did you exercise during that 2WW or just take it easy? Does it make any difference at all when it comes to successful implantation? Thanks!

I exercise a lot and I didn’t change anything the month we conceived (although it did take a year but probably unrelated!)

I couldn't find any evidence that you shouldn't exercise during the 2ww. Once you're pregnant, you need to avoid anything where you could get hit in the stomach, so you may choose to follow that advice in the 2ww but I haven't seen any evidence for it being necessary.

The best information about pregnancy is on the Tommy's website. It's all referenced and reviewed by healthcare professionals, so you know it's good advice. Here's their exercise stuff - www.tommys.org/pregnancy-information/im-pregnant/exercise-pregnancy/what-kind-exercises-can-i-do-during-pregnancy

@ChaosMoon @Mikewazowskismrs Thank you both and that link is fab, I know I’m probably wildly overthinking things. Thank you for putting my mind at ease!
