Help? Is this positive?

So I’ve been having unprotected sex with my partner as we feel when the time is right I will get pregnant. I hadn’t thought about it much until lately just felt weird in general, took a test today and this is what happened... three lines?? Anyone had this? I hope you can see and it’s not just me

Is it perhaps a faulty test?

No that just looks like dye run and/or a faulty test.

The only way to tell is to repeat the test. Could be positive but also could be a defective test. When did the lines show up? Does possibly look like the dye has run a bit. If you put a couple of drops of water on the wee part, what happens?

I see 2 faint lines as well as the control line so I would test again

There does seem to be two faint lines. I'm leaning towards faulty test but I'd definitely take another.

Will try again in half hour just hoping for the best? Can this happen and be pregnant?

I can't see anything in the second set of picture. In the first set seems to be the control line and two other lines.

I’d try a better brand such as first response. I’ve had dye runs on cheaper tests before.

It's a faulty test so it's not an indicator either way. There should only be one control line and one test line, there's definitely two on that test! Never seen that before!

It can happen, it usually means the dye has run I think. Flooding it can cause this, it's best to wee in a pot and dip it than wee directly on the stick.

So I’m a bit stuck on what test to buy? I previously brought Poundland but are they any good? I’m now doubting that there is even a chance, I want this so bad

Try a First Response Early Response or a Clear Blue digital. Good luck x

My first test I used a Poundland one that came back immediate clear positive at 3+5, the more expensive ones I did in the following days were really quite faint, so I'd recommend not spending a fortune! I hope you get the result you want

I've never had a wrong result with a cheap one. I'd use them and maybe confirm with a better one. The digital ones aren't as sensitive though
