So as the title says, i think ive developed CTS. My hand and wrist are agony! It started yesterday and today has been quote bad. What can i do? I have the midwife tomorrow so will mention to her. Also think i have SPD as my pelvis, hips and pubic bone are agony. Being pregnant is so much fun!

I'm the exact same!
I called my midwife and she has referred me to physio. I have to travel a bit, but I'll have my first appointment at the end of next week x

Sympathies- I had the same in pregnancy, and ongoing issues after.

It sound like you might possibly have a heritable disorder of collagen synthesis/collagen disorder - there are quite a few of them (the one I have is OI but something like EDS would be a bit more common). Do you have generalised hyper-mobility? You might want to google the terms I mentioned and see if you fit the pattern of symptoms.

Pregnancy hormones loosen off everyone’s joints but women who are already a bit too bendy can suffer a lot of pain and problems as a result. It may or may not resolve after pregnancy- it didn’t for me (although the Spd got a lot better), but I had significant joint and bone issues before my pregnancies, I just didn’t know at the time that I had a Collagen disorder causing those seemingly random problems!

Please be really careful with walking, don’t be tempted to walk through the pain!

Strangely my carpal tunnel symptoms resolved on a gluten free diet (I’ve been GF for years due to other medical issue), possibly due to how that changed fluid retention- a close relative (also hypermobile) also got a lot of improvement on a low gluten diet (not GF)... Maybe it’s not connected at all but I thought it’s an interesting observation- maybe worth a try for a couple of week to see if it makes a difference for you???
