sorry if tmi.. but during sex hubby said I feel very soft..what does this mean..

Title says it all really, I am 37+1weeks pg and we had sex this morning, dh said that I feel extremley soft.... Does everything soften in preperation for labour.!!!

The cervix softens so it could be that.

Not sure of the reasons for it but i remember my dp saying something similar while i was pg.....

The cervix softens before it opens in preparation for labour so if it's the cervix that feels soft then it's all normal.

Mine felt like that at about 37 weeks, I was all excited and thought it meant it was imminent but sadly had to wait another 3 weeks!!! sorry not to be more encouraging, I can feel your frustration, was desperate by then too! xx
