6 week scan - no fetal pole

I've just been for a 6 week scan, yolk sack present but no baby yet. I've also been bleeding for nearly a week so think this is the end for me. I have another scan on Friday but am not holding out much hope anyone got any advice or experience? I feel horribly sad.

Did they do an internal scan? Very few people can see a fetal pole at six weeks through external ultrasound.
Wishing you lots of luck and hoping it goes well for you at the rescan. 6 weeks is very early so don't lose hope. Try and keep busy until then x

Thank you for your reply Yes they did an internal scan gimmeeadoughnut, it's the bleeding and feeling unwell that is freaking me out. Will try and keep busy til Friday x
