33 weeks with twins - movements feel lighter

Hiya

Was just wondering if anyone has any experience in this or not?

My babies have always been very wriggly and have always been booting the hell out of me! I felt movements very early. I’ve hit 33 weeks and I am still counting kicks/movements and they are still there but just lighter. I actually forgot last week for two days to count them at all and it only worried me because I thought hmmm they aren’t as strong anymore? My midwife said at my last appointment that you should still feel them (which I do) but just not as strong and that they arent necessarily running out of space as your body grows with them but they don’t have as much room to kick out so hard.

I am a very anxious person so being pregnant and having anxiety is not a good mix! The closer to meeting these babies the more fearful I am getting so I am looking out for negatives etc (which I am a pro at).

Not sure if I’m being a worry wart and should stop worrying? Anyone had any experience in this?

Thanks 😃

I think there would be absolutely no harm in contacting your hospitals day unit. They are used to seeing people in this situation and would much rather you called, than worried and potentially something be wrong.

If you're worried, get checked out. Nobody on here can tell you if your babies are or aren't ok.

If you are worried, go and get checked.

There are no risks to getting checked.
There are risks to not getting checked.

I'm sure no midwife would mind reassuring someone 7 months pregnant with twins.
