My skin is vile and it never is ...
Well it was once when I had the coil.
It's around my jaw and neck. Most people wouldn't think it's too bad but my skin is normally clear.

It's not the type that goes after a day it sort of stagnant and stays there until I use that cream but I'm not sure if it's safe when pregnant...

In case it has something in it but I don't want to call GP about this I'm sure the chemist default answer will be ask GP and I am not seeing Midwife or consultant until 31st

Pic of skin also

Hi I am suffering with horrific acne and gave been since about 5 weeks in (12 weeks now) my entire face is covered in red, itchy and often very painful bumps and spots and it's spread to my chest too. It's massively affected my self confidence - I hate getting close to people at work now and just stay in the house the rest of the time, and because my skin is do hot, dry and painful it's impossible to forget about even for a moment (and impossible not to pick and scratch at too!)

Both doctor and midwife have told me there's nothing that can be given for it and to enjoy it as a pregnancy symptom 😕

Pharmacist suggested scrubs but they just make it more red and angry really. I've tried some natural things like tea tree oil and witch Hazel but they've made absolutely no difference so if would appear we are stuck with it! Sorry this isn't what you wanted to hear but it helps to at least know you aren't the only one suffering. Xxx

I've always struggled with acne, and it definitely got worse at the start of my pregnancy. I changed my skincare routine to a pregnancy safe one (Belli cleanser from America, simple alcohol free toner, vitamin C and retinol serum from amazon at night and neutrogena gel moisturiser) and either that or hormone shifts have settled it down now at 32 weeks. I hope it gets better for you, but just in case then i'd especially recommend the cleanser and moisturiser out of that lot above.
