Feeling miserable - 37 weeks

I’m due 1st Jan and is it just me or does anyone just hit a wall with being pregnant and want it over now?Blush
I’m so grateful to be pregnant and we can’t wait to welcome our first baby but I guess I’m just feeling really rundown.
First was the insomnia, second was every time I tried to lay down to settle I got trapped air in my chest and severe acid reflux to the point of almost vomiting. And just to top it all off, I’ve got a UTI and a virus that’s effecting my breathing and my swallowing really badly. It’s effecting my jaw, my ears and giving headaches, I’m struggling to get fluids down but GP said it’s just a case of waiting this out. Everything else has come back negative but I’m just so unhappy at the moment.
I’m worried about going into labour like this as I’m miserable and can hardly breathe! I feel like I’d beg for a c section at this rate! (And I want to avoid one at all costs!)
Sorry just needed to moan a bit.

And breathe. Grin

38 weeks here and feel the same... just told DH I’m going to be grumpy until the baby is born!
This is my third and I felt fine until labour with my first two, but this time I’m just fed up. Got so much going on with school nativities/carol concerts/discos/gymnastics Christmas parties etc plus the usual Christmas prep and it’s bloody hard work when massive, not sleeping, awful reflux... plus a cold. I’ve had enough!

AnxiousMama101 · 12/12/2018 07:54

It’s so tough isn’t it?!
I feel like I can’t plan anything for Christmas as don’t know when baby will show up’!

Everything aches and hurts.. I’m so emotional and just want this all to stop!

I hope you feel better soon!

I’m with you! 35 weeks on Saturday and been on maternity leave the 2 weeks (not by choice) and I literally feel so lonely being cooped up all day on my own. I’m missing out on all the Xmas festivities because I’m in crutches for SPD and have GD I literally feel like I can’t do anything fun! I don’t sleep either and have an issue with my gallbladder and have major reflux cause if it too.
In the nicest way I’m glad someone else isn’t having the picture perfect pregnancy. I’m so sick of people commenting on how good their pregnancy was as if I had somehow brought this all in myself.
So I’m head to listen any time you need a moan 😊

Sorry so many typos in my last message!

AnxiousMama101 · 12/12/2018 15:37

Oh my god someone finally said it!

I thought it was just me going through a tough time! Like I said I’m so grateful for this baby, but I just want him earthside so I can get my body back to its normal state. I feel like I’m constantly run down and because I’m not sleeping, I’m finding things very difficult! Sad
I’m hoping he comes before christmas though!

@anxiousmama101 I’m right there with you! So, so grateful for this little one but will be sooooo much happier once he is here. Everyone keeps telling me “oh you think you’re tired now but wait until he is here” but at least when he arrives I can share the duties with the husband. As much as Your partner can be supportive during pregnancy, unless you are the one up all night, constantly uncomfortable in your own skin and on the hormonal roller coaster they truly can’t understand the toll it takes after a few months. I hope the next couple of weeks go quick for you x

SoyDora · 12/12/2018 16:21

It’s my third baby so I know full well I’m going to be far, far more exhausted when the baby is here.
At least I’ll be able to bend in the middle though!

AnxiousMama101 · 12/12/2018 16:28

My hubby has been absolutely great and supportive with the pregnancy and said he looks forward to be able to share the duties for baby.
I’m very thankful for him and baby. I’m hoping baby will be here before Christmas!

You too lovely, we can get through these few weeks! X

37 weeks here’s too and I have had enough!!
Pregnancy sucks I’m my opinion 😂 I’m so ready for baby to be here now.
I’m unbelievably grumpy all of the time, I’m tired, hungry, more tired and more grumpy.
So far this week I’ve eaten a ton of pineapple drank loads of raspberry tea and had a spicey curry and as I write this I am bouncing on my birthing ball 😂

m4rdybum · 12/12/2018 17:36

At least I’ll be able to bend in the middle though!

This Grin Almost 36 weeks and really miss being able to move freely. Poor DH had to cut my toenails for me last week.

67oonkin · 12/12/2018 23:14

I’m not far off having to have my husband cut mine too 😂😂
So my day has went from bad to worse. I’m currently in hospital. My gallstones flares up again and I’m currently waiting to see a surgeon to see if I need to have it removed whilst still pregnant. This little guy just needs to hurry up and make an appearance!!

WeeBeasties · 12/12/2018 23:18

OP I'm due the day before you and certainly echo your sentiments. The killer back ache and acid reflux are what's really getting to me.
Not long now!

problembottom · 12/12/2018 23:27

I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and won’t list my endless symptoms but in summary I feel like crap. The amount of Christmas prep is really annoying me this year, I have zero energy.

AnxiousMama101 · 13/12/2018 00:18

Oh ladies the things we go through for our little ones eh??

I literally dread going to sleep every night as I know I won’t be able to breathe through my nose, acid will flare up, which makes the cough worse! I hate it all.
@67oonkin - you poor love! I hope everything goes okay! X
@weebeasties - and the hip pain too! My god, I just want him out now! X
@problembottom - I’ve told everyone me and hubby want christmas alone as could be our last one just us so we don’t have to entertain anyone on the day thank god! But I know what you mean. I’m zapped of all energy! X

37 weeks here too! DC4. The reflux and inability to bend in the middle are doing me in too.
