Nearly 36 weeks- insomnia and nausea

Is this normal? I am nearly 36 weeks with our first DC and wake up every night around 4am then sometimes fall back to sleep at around 7.30am for an hour or so but usually can't. I go to bed between 11pm and midnight.

I've started maternity leave which is a blessing so I don't have to work during the day at the moment.

Also I have underlying nausea for much of the time especially on a night or first thing on a morning. I'm not being sick it's just a mild feeling. Has anyone else had this?

33 weeks pregnant and my insomnia and nausea has started up again! I was still reading at half 4 this morning (having not slept all night) and my alarm goes off at half 5! Roll on maternity leave!!!

I'm sorry to hear you're suffering but also glad to know I'm not the only one!

I have got to the point where I have so much trapped wind (sorry) and am burping or feeling like I need to burp all the time, I'm just so uncomfortable!

Horrible but totally normal. I was about 37 weeks this time last year and those last weeks were hard. Sickness ramped up again and heartburn, insomnia, restless legs were horrific.
