Has anybody else been told they need a zero weight gain in their pregnancy? If so how have you managed this?
So far I've managed to maintain but I'm worried now I'm in my second trimester, I won't be able to keep it up. Any ideas on how to do this?

What weight are you? I only know of the 123 rule:

Max 1 stone if overweight
2 stone if normal weight
3 singe if underweight

I put on about a stone as I started at over 15 stone

My BMI was 40 but I was wearing steel toe cap shoes at my first appointment when it was calculated.

I'm about 94kg which is about 14.8 stone

I'm only 10 weeks but so far I've lost weight - almost 5lb. I think in my case it's muscle as I just don't have the energy to keep up any kind of regime, but I was worried so did some research and it seems weight loss and holding isn't unusual, especially if you had bad sickness. How far into your 2nd trimester are you

I'm 11st6lb and am almost 15 weeks and haven't gained a pound. I think given we're overweight, it's maybe easier to not gain a ton. I'm not quite sure how that works. I haven't eaten any differently, not counted calories etc., but I am worried about gaining further on in the pregnancy.

My plan is to join Slimming World after Christmas so I can focus on maintaining a healthy diet to ensure I don't gain more than is needed.

I'm 22 weeks. In my first trimester i was only sick a few times but the nausea was really bad up until 3 weeks ago. Now I'm just about maintaining but don't want to gain much. The obstetrician was quite blunt about it being a zero weight gain. She recommended slimming world but I struggle to stick to it when I'm not pregnant. I'm also off work because of spd so I'm struggling to walk let alone exercise
