6 week scan

Hi yesterday I went for a six week scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy turned out fine but they said there is no heartbeat yet but they warned me before hand there might not be as it's still early but I still worry has anyone experienced this

I also had a six week scan yesterday for the same reason. I was fortunate and they did see a heartbeat but at 6 weeks it really is common to not find one as a few days can make all the difference. Was the size consistent for your dates?

I had a scan at just 6w saw a HB but couldn't see anything for baby. She said to me if you came 2 days before we wouldn't have seen a HB.

Yeah they said it all looks normal tor 6 weeks I have to go back on the 20th so hopefully I will see it then x

I had a scan at six weeks and didn't see a heartbeat, just a yolk sac ... went back a week later and there was a blob with a heartbeat!

Thanks that has made me feel better about it. Also morning sickness (for me all day sickness) has kicked in so I guess that's a good sign
