Obstetrics appointment

Hellooo! I'm almost 15 weeks and I've just got a letter through for obstetrics appointment!

What does it involve?? My memory is terrible atm and I don't remember having it with my first!

It really depends on why you’ve been referred! Best person to ask is your midwife. I have an underlying condition and so saw the obstetrician from 15weeks in my first pregnancy, each time it was a general chat about my health, management of my condition and then quick health check, urine, BP, listen into baby. This time round they are happy I am fine to not be obstetric led so I saw the obstetrician once at 16weeks for a chat and none of the health checks and wont see them again unless needed. Good luck!

@Bees1 I thought so! I have no idea why she has referred me though, I had no complications in my last pregnancy and nothing wrong with me this time. (Touch wood)

She didn't seem concerned when I met her, I had my scan couple weeks ago but now I am slightly worried I think I will message her and ask! Thank you x
