Mucus plug/show

Not had my bloody show yet, but started to have little (less than 5p size) blobs of mucus every now and then, and just wondered if anyone has had anything similar? I've certainly suffered with an increase in discharge this past month or so, so don't know if it's related to that, or a pre cursor to my show on its way?

I'm 35+3 today.

I had a few blobs a few weeks ago. Never anything much.

My plug started to come away on Sunday and it was like EWCM when it did. Definitely noticeable. Had my bloody show this morning at 39+1 which was pink tinged mucus. It was slimy and weird.

Now sat on my ball riding out my contractions (which bloody hurt by the way).

I think you’ve probably still got a few weeks left yet but if you get an increase, call your MW or hospital as you’re still before 37 weeks x

Grossly, they're more like a snot colour, but definitely little, noticeable blobs when they do happen.

When I was pregnant with my son my plug started to come away about 3 or 4 weeks before he had arrived. I don't think it's a sign that baby is coming before it's due. Maybe mention it to your midwife at your next appointment if it's concerning you that much. I know lots of women who this has happened to and it weren't an indication that something was wrong. I don't think it's anything major so try not to panic about it.
