Hey all I will be 22 weeks tomorrow and been feeling baby since around 20 weeks, maybe just before.
Anyway from feeling him move it was constant and then recently it's not been as much as it used to be. Should I be worried?

Contact the emergency number on the front of your notes and ask a midwife.

I think at this stage, baby is still so little that if they’ve moved and are kicking a different place you might not feel it so much. Do you know where your placenta is? If it’s on the front, that can cushion the kicks too.

Having said that, no one here can tell you that all is well & if you’re worried, you should call the Maternity Assessment Unit for advice.

@FrazzyAndFrumpled my placenta is at the back according to my scans. I still feel him every day but sometimes not as much. Like yesterday he was kicking loads and today not as much but I have still felt him.
He's my first baby so maybe I'm just overthinking everything as people at work have said he's still quite small and they can get comfy sometimes xx

They say not to worry until 24 weeks, but always call - better safe than sorry

They say you should drink something cold and lie on your side, you should feel movements within 30 minutes. I've had to do that a couple of times in this pregnancy and it's always made baby move. If you're in any doubt phone your midwife, it's better to be safe just in case x
