Anomaly scan showing mass above cerebellum

As above! Just had 20w scan, showed a 'solid mass' above brain. They couldn't tell me any more or what it was or what it meant. Waiting for a call from the women's hospital for a referral to a specialist for more scanning and maybe an MRI. Can't find any info online just going out of my head with worry. Anyone got any experiences of this?

I haven’t been through this but just wanted to offer a hand hold.

When are you expecting the call from the other hospital?

I went for a private gender scan with daughter (nhs don't do this here) 19wks, everything else appears fine except for a mass on the back of the babies skull, he wrote everything down, from cyst, mass, defect, protruding and referred her to the nhs, now she's awaiting a specialist appointment, I have googled this and oh my is there any good news out there as google seems to be worst case scenario, my daughter is really upset and blaming herself (type 1 diabetic) I just want to give some balance and hope to the situation. Thank you x
