Spotting in early pregnancy but only at lunch time

Grateful to hear if anyone else has experienced this!

Basically for the last week or so I've had brown spotting when I wipe (none in my pants, just on the toilet paper). The weird thing is that it only happens at lunchtime. There'll be a small amount on the tissue around midday and nothing before or after. It's weird. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a scan a couple of days ago because I was worried and the baby was the correct size and had a good heartbeat. It's still quite worrying though and I just wish it would stop. Got another scan on Friday.

Could you have something called ectopic cervix? Where the cervix is red and sore. Very common in pregnancy and usually goes away after the pregnancy.

Or maybe an infection? You could ask them to check your cervix and do a swab when you go for the scan.

Sorry to go there, but if you have a bowel movement in the morning, the spotting could be from that.
