Hi im pregnant with my 4th child im 25 weeks today been having braxton hicks back pain and i have just stopped anti biotics for a urine infection.

However went to toilet this morning and found this massive glob of thick stretchy like mucus like a white and yellow colour i havr had swelling down there and feels like something was sitting in my cervix however i got relief when this passed.

I habe never had this and had back pain just after i passed this and baby started wriggling about after but this seems to have died down now just a pain in my left side of my cervix.

Any indication what this is x

I'm not sure everyone fully understands what "trigger" means....

Courtneybrown · 08/12/2018 18:21

How are you? Did you see a midwife?

FrazzyAndFrumpled · 08/12/2018 18:26

It doesn’t look like it to me, just thick discharge I think. Did you get seen?

ThatOneHurt · 08/12/2018 19:12

It's not that I would prefer you to put anything at all.
It's just that you're not understanding what "trigger" means if you're using it in this context.

Russell19 · 08/12/2018 20:07

Trigger means emotionally may upset people or bring back people's own negative experiences. You should have put TMI not trigger

Bigonesmallone3 · 08/12/2018 20:14

Even if it is a plug they can grow back, if it's a bloody show that is the more concerning one.. contact a MW for advice but I wouldn't call it an emergency..

Courtneybrown · 08/12/2018 20:59

I meant to put tmi but by the time i had posted i couldn't change it and yes got seen i still have a infection going on hence this not mucus plug lol

Sorry to hear that you have an infection, have they given you ABs? I had an infection at 28w in my last pregnancy and it nearly put me into premature labour! Take care of yourself Flowers

CrazyCatLady1993 · 09/12/2018 10:26

@ThatOneHurt why pick on someone for using the wrong word? Is it affecting your daily life? Nope, didn’t think so! How sad, get a life love!!!

Courtneybrown · 09/12/2018 18:49

Yeah im back on anti biotics hun I'm having lower back pain again though so going to go back to mw tommorow xx
