My little boy is 10 months old and I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again! My partner is really happy as our little boy has a different dad and now he’s excited to possibly be having one of his own! I’ve just started a new job and I’m still in my probation period, 1/3 months in. My minds all over the place and I’m only 19, 20 in December. We live in a 2 bed flat with a German Shepherd dog so room is tight as it is! Any advice on what to do would be great, I took this new job to create a better life for my family and now I feel like I won’t be able to do that

How long has this new guy been on the scene?

I'm guessing not long if your baby has a different dad?

What will happen to your job if your pregnant in probation?

Can you afford childcare for two children for 4 years together?

The flat and a large dog...I can see where the weakest link is ...

Ideally you'd have waited a lot longer to give the relationship a chance to develop and see how he is with your baby before having another one but accidents happen.

What do you want?

We’ve got three kids and live in a two bed. It’s tight, but we hope to move soon. They’re 10,9 and 7. It was easier when they were younger. I know it’s a big shock to the system finding out you’re expecting for a second time, it certainly was for us, and I was in my early 30s.
Not much advice, sorry, but things have a way of working themselves out. Hope you’re keeping ok

I was pregnant with DD2 when DD1 was just 7 months old!
It’s quite nice having them close together, it gets all the nappies and sleep deprivation out of the way in one fell swoop, and they both like the same age related activities.
However, I would reassess your contraception if yours was unplanned - you’d struggle with three under 3 in your present accommodation if you had another accident!
