Hi,

We asked Clare, a midwife, to cover a few commonly asked questions (or maybe questions you never asked), with Hayley and Becky who are both pregnant.

Topics covered include:

  • Cervical mucus
  • A show
  • Piles
  • Swollen feet
  • Warer retention
  • Digestive problems
  • Heartburn
  • Feeling emotional

Hopefully you'll find it helpful!

Could you ask her to look at my post regarding cervical mucus as unsure if its my mucus plug

Am 6 weeks pregnant and am suffering from a lot of pain lower belly and back. Is this normal or should I be worried. As I've had 4 MC

I’m 23 weeks and keep getting cramp in my feet and legs. Wakes me up during the night. I don’t usually experience this. Curious to know if this is pregnancy related or just coincidence?

myotherbagisgucci · 12/12/2018 08:42

@PurpleFlowersInMyHair I had this during my first pregnancy and it turned out that I had low iron. Once I started taking iron tablets, the cramp pretty much disappeared.

What does a sudden loss of symptoms mean at 9 weeks?

Monkeynuts18 · 14/12/2018 09:04

Second @jummynbean’s question - I’ve had the same thing!

Jummynbean · 15/12/2018 11:10

@monkeynuts18 have you spoken your midwife yet? Mine just said it happens sometimes and not to worry just yet. Likely going to book in for an early scan next week
