Not sure what I'm hoping to get from posting this, I'm just so happy and relieved!!

Baby was diagnosed with In-Utero Growth Restriction 6 weeks ago, and we've had growth scans, including one yesterday. Baby went from the 8th centile, to the 5th, to the 3rd, and it was looking like it'd have to be an early C-section at 30-34 weeks to get baby neo-natal care. Then yesterday, low and behold, back up to the 5th centile, a good 4pounds 9oz at 33 weeks and no longer considered to be having his growth slowing down!!

Relief doesn't even begin to describe how this feels, but I'm so happy! And hopefully for any other worried parents with a baby that doesn't like to grow, this will give you hope!

I’m 34 weeks on Sunday. Are you getting excited now ? Not long !

TheOrangeOwl · 07/12/2018 15:22

@WhiteWashGails Oh wow! I'm 34 on Monday, so I guess our babies should be born pretty close together! It's flown by for me, has your pregnancy? I really am, we've just finished getting the last bits washed and ready for baby, so it's feeling very real, if that makes sense? Do you have lots left to do? And are you excited? (Sorry for all the questions!) Grin
