Still getting sickness at 27 weeks

Is it normal that I'm still throwing up daily at 27 weeks? I did with my first as well and lost about 2 stone! And now it's happening again but I just don't know whether I should be worried or not. Has anyone else been physically sick throughout their whole pregnancy?

I was nauseous and taking antiemetics for my entire pregnancy, the drugs did stop the vomiting for the most part.

I read somewhere that if you are still suffering by 20 weeks the chances are you will suffer till the birth, and this was certainly true for me.

I also read that when you give birth, once the placenta is out the nausea and vomiting disappear instantly and completely, and this was also true, I felt amazing!!

If you aren't already, get some antiemetics, if your GP is being difficult about prescribing them see a different doctor. If you need to print off the nice guidelines 'nausea and vomiting in pregnancy' and the royal college of obstetricians and gynecologists guidelines, and go to the appointment with a 'takes no shit' friend or relative. This is the 21st century, you should not have to suffer to the extent you are.

Yes. OMG it was dreadful. I was sick on the operating table before delivery (C section) I literally begged my friend (who delivered the baby)-when will I stop being sick and he said a couple of hours / after I deliver the baby. I literally weighed 6 stone at the end of pregnancy and felt so good afterwards as I had been sick daily for 9 months including several stints in hospital. I feel your pain and sick -it is absolutely horrid.

@bertie
At 2am my husband was unscrewing the pipe from under the bathroom sink the clear the vomit, as I was on my hands and knees with my head down the toilet contracting every 2 minutes, when we arrived at hospital I begged for an antiemetic injection, when I finally got it, I was, like, "right NOW give me the entonox and diamorphine"!!

Yes . Sick every single day between 5 & 16 times a day from 6 weeks right up to the birth day - including 5 times during the birth and on the operating table preparing for emergency a c section . I had to be turned onto my side to avoid chocking to death .

Second pregnancy was not quite so bad - I had a few days off with only nausea .
