5 weeks pregnant and I've got pink spotting

I'm just over 5 weeks pregnant, this is the second time I've had spotting like this this week. I didn't have any before this week.
Should I be worried? It's not a lot and it's not really red, more pink. Have also been experiencing period pain like cramping for 2 weeks but thought that was normal.
I've got an ultrasound tomorrow, as I rang the doctor the other day and he booked me in to get checked

Sounds like the egg implanting into your uterus. This is totally normal.
If you're worried and want peace of mind contact the hospital and they should refer you through to the early pregnancy unit for a scan.
That's what happened to me, pretty much as you described. Was lovely seeing the little sac with a white blob next to it with a beating heart in the middle 😊 I hope all goes ok for you too xx

I agree sounds like implantation. I had spotting around the same time but it was dark red and I totally freaked. I’m now 36 weeks and wondering when baby will come :)

Thank you for replying. I had a transvaginal ultrasound today. They managed to see the sac and yolk but no heart beat yet, the midwife said she's happy she saw what she did because she wasn't expecting due to how early I am. I showed her the bleeding and she said it looks like implantation bleeding so fingers crossed a see a heart beat for my next scan in 2 weeks❤️
