Is it along where your knicker line is?

HJWT · 05/12/2018 16:13

I had this at 6 weeks but quite painful had a scan to check wasn't ectopic but couldn't see much so was a bit pointless, she's 2 now x

How dizzy, how sharp?
I don't know what in world they do for you unless it's something quite severe (like an infection).

robynclen · 05/12/2018 16:22

Yes on the right hand side. Its very sharp and dizzyness not fainting but not steady on my feet. Think i will go get checked juat incase

Let us know what they say. Hope you feel better soon.

Lou1984 · 05/12/2018 16:28

Definitely get it checked out ASAP to rule out ectopic. One sided pain and dizziness can be symptoms so it’s not worth holding off waiting to see if you improve. Hopefully nothing to worry about but better to be safe than sorry. Good luck xx

Sounds like round ligament (stretching) pain. It's really sharp sometimes and runs on either side along your knicker line.

Bombardier25966 · 05/12/2018 16:33

I don't know what in world they do for you unless it's something quite severe (like an infection).

On the symptoms given, they'd want to check she's not got a potentially life threatening ectopic pregnancy.

Please call the EPU if they're still open OP. If the pain or dizziness gets any worse get to A&E.

Bit early for round ligament pain?

The people I know with ectopic had much more definite symptoms. No questions about needing to seek help. I admit to ignorance, Maybe there's a stage early on when ectopic is still mild.

Merrydoula · 05/12/2018 17:21

Call 111, they'll review your symptoms and tell you if you should come in or not, then you don't need to worry about wasting anyone's times because you're acting on instruction x

E20mom · 05/12/2018 18:11

@ragged. I get it from 6 weeks

Buttonsareforever · 05/12/2018 19:42

@ragged I got severe round ligament pain from 6 weeks too right up till I had my daughter. SPD never really started till 4 months tho, maybe you are confusing it with that? Now about 8 weeks and have really bad round ligament pain again 😫 x

ThatOneHurt · 05/12/2018 19:55

I get round ligament pain from 6 weeks.

Unfortunately it isn't just about the stretching with RLP.

OP because you could have symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy you absolutely should get checked out.

YeOldeTrout · 06/12/2018 06:06

Any news, @Robynclen?

robynclen · 06/12/2018 12:36

Got checked nothing major showing going to get an earlyer scan just to make sure everything is ok.
