7 week scan

Has anyone had a scan at 7 weeks, if so can you see a lot or is it similar to a 5 week, also did you get to keep the pictures or is it only on a certain amount of weeks they allow you to have them x

I had a scan at 6+4. Couldn’t see a baby at that point just the yolk sac but you could see the heart beat as it was blinking on the screen. We got to keep a picture which we didn’t pay for (at my hospital you have to pay for 12w and 20w scan images).

I had a scan at 7+3 very definite in that it was a kidney bean shaped blob with a heart beat in one end

As for pics the lady who did the scan in EPU (it was a scan to rule out ectopic as previous pregnancy was one) she printed a pic as she 'didn't know what the rules were' .

Just dug out DDs pics. Heres one at 6+1 and another at 8+1 so somewhere in between. You should be able to see a little heartbeat which is lovely. They should be able to give you a photo if you ask

This is my scan at 7+1.
There was a heartbeat, the baby and it's little yolk sac.
They printed a picture off for me and I got to keep it :)
This is from the EPU because I was experiencing frequent bleeding. All was okay and I'm not 19 weeks pregnant with a little boy.

yeah, little blob and a heartbeat at that stage. I got to keep all the pictures. Best of luck!
