I'm 33 weeks 5 days. Yesterday I got a call saying the bloods they took showed I had it (levels were 18???) but last Monday they were normal.
I went to hospital today and to be honest am no better off knowledge wise. They were short staffed and barely spoke to me. I waited 2 hours for the consultant to tell me I needed to take urso twice a day, have a scan tomorrow and another appointment Monday to repeat my blood test and be monitored.
I was told I'd see a consultant in the next 2 weeks.
That's it. I told them I was cramping badly and wanted paracetamol (took 4 hours to get...) but they dismissed it without checking me. I said I'd read a bit online about early induction with this condition and the midwife just said 'yes the consultant will possibly discuss induction for 37/38 weeks'... again that's it.
I want to know what my options are, can I ask to be induced? Do I just have to do what they say?? Comments on experience will be helpful! I've read conflicting things online :(
