Only 5 weeks and can't do up my trousers!

As the title says really. My eating habits haven't changed so I'm concerned I can't do up my trousers! I'm struggling with the bloat and my tummy feels too tender to squidge into my trousers, because I end up feeling incredibly sick and uncomfy.
Is this normal? I'm normally a 6/8

The bloat is very normal. Doesn't really ease much either! Make sure you drink plenty of water and have lots of fibre in your diet. Vinegar is also supposed to help, which may explain the stereotype of women craving pickled things in pregnancy!

I’m a 6-8 and had this with both my pregnancies, even worse the second time. Stuff fitted, but I found having any pressure at all on my stomach was just so uncomfortable.

I switched to my maternity trousers at 6 weeks or something stupidly early this time. It did improve though!
