Mucus plug at 16 weeks

Hello :-)
So I've heard that some can lose a bit of their mucus plug throughout their pregnancy and it'll regenerate. I think I may have lost a little when using the loo today, just some plegm like stuff with a bit of a pink in it. I rang the MW who was a little uncaring and said it could've just been discharge and if I had pain or blood then to call. I had spotting the other day but checked heartbeat same day and everything was fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had this or plegn like discharge?

What do you mean you checked the heart beat the hospital did or you did ! And have you had any further spotting or discharge i would probably phone maternity just to be on the safe side.

When I visited the other day they checked the heartbeat. I have, they weren't very helpful, just said it could be discharge and unless I had bleeding and cramping not to worry. Just seemed too thick for discharge, different than usual.
