Hi all! I'm new to mumsnet and am currently around 4 weeks pregnant... I sadly had a miscarriage around 4 months ago, I'm really worried that my new pregnancy will result in another miscarriage :( I have been feeling sick on a morning and getting the odd pregnancy symptom, although I have had slight cramping in my tummy but It is around the time I should have had my period, I just wanted to ask for advise on how to not worry too much about having another MC and look forward to becoming a mum! Also any tips or advise on having a healthy pregnancy will be appreciatedSmile

I got pregnant in my first month of TTC which resulted in a MC at 6.5 week, it then took me 7 month to get pregnant again and now I have a very healthy and happy almost 4 month old! Just relax and let your body do what it needs to do and fingers crossed this little bean sticks! Congratulations! As for the pregnancy I would invest in a pregnancy pillow, around £20 on eBay, the best thing I ever bought, it helped me sleep when I was uncomfortable everywhere!

I had an MMC in May & a CP in Sept I'm currently 8w preg and I feel all your worries, I actually rang my GP Surgery in a state and they got a GP to call me back. Luckily she rang EPAU and got me a scan the next day at 6w - we saw a HB but I still didn't believe it. I'd press my boobs 49494 times a day to check they hurt then I'd worry I wasn't being sick. I think it's so hard to not worry, I've been very open in expressing my worries so people know why I'm a bit off etc. I'd suggested calling your GP.

Hi lovely. Try not to worry, there are many ladies on mumsnet who have had miscarriages and gone on to have perfectly healthy babies and I am sure you will be the same. As for the tummy cramping, try not to be too concerned by that as it’s really common. I had really bad cramps and pressure at the start to the point where it felt like my period was about to arrive but eventually the cramping eased off. Good luck! Xx

Sending messages of love! I had a MC last August and December - I now have a 40+3 week humungous baby Boy in my tummy who hopefully will be induced tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for you!

You're far more likely to have a successful pregnancy than two miscarriages in a row. Statistics are on your side.

Just here to send support and I fully understand everything you’re staying. I had a MC in April at 8 weeks and I’m now approaching 10 weeks with next pregnancy. I’ve already had 2 reassurance scans as I’m full of worry. Both were very positive. It seems I’ve already made the decision I won’t enjoy this. I didn’t take any folic acid before falling pregnant as we werent really TCC so of course that’s a brand new worry. I think it’s so natural what you’re feeling, take it week by week and being open with your worries is a good thing. I plan to chew the ears off the MWs at my app next week! Good luck and I hope you get some good news very soon xx
