17 week bump

Just wondering what everyone's bumps were like at 17 weeks?

I just find mine really strange, it's very very low down just like a swollen bladder nowhere near as high as my belly button! Throughout the day as I get bloated it then begins to look like a normal baby bump but I know that that's just wind and bloating!
It hurts to lift my knees up when putting socks on or taking trousers off etc, is this normal for this time in pregnancy?

I see other people 17 weeks and they just have a normal round baby bump, I know everyone is different but has anyone had one like mine where is stops a good inch before the belly button?

My bump was very small and low at this point in pregnancy and got more rounded as the day went on. The baby is still pretty low in your pelvis at this point. I found I got a bump more like what I was expecting at about 20ish weeks. Everybody shows differently in pregnancy and bumps can come earlier in subsequent pregnancies.

I read that it reaches your belly button by 20 weeks, having grown a centimetre a week to get to that point. By that, an inch away sounds just right!

I'm 17 weeks too but I think because it's my second baby I look massive already.

Where does it hurt when you lift your knees? If it's your stomach it could be round ligament pain.

Im currently 17 weeks with my first and barely even have a bump! It sometimes swells up after I've eaten or towards the end of the day but it's alot smaller than I expected. Can't wait to pop haha xx

Sit down when putting on socks and trousers. Could be totally normal and be nothing, could develop into spd, which affected me from 9 weeks. Spd affects about one in five pregnant women.

Start doing those pelvic floor exercises!!

I'm 23 weeks and I don't have a complete round belly, it's refusing to fully pop by my belly button I feel completely fat I usto be a size 6 in told now I hide my belly it's completely normal it's just because your belly is to strong it's taking more time to pop.

Thank you all for your replies! I just can't wait to have a proper bump and look pregnant instead of just looking chunky 🙈 I think my bump has gone to my bum instead of my belly!!

I must say I felt like this and when I got to 21 weeks and turning over in bed was an effort I wanted it to be 40 weeks LOL.
Bumps arent as fun as they seem Grin
