Hi everyone :) I'm 20w 5d pregnant with my 2nd baby and we had the 20 week anomaly scan today. All went absolutely fine, but the sonographer did have to go and ask one of the cardiologists as she saw an 'echogenic focus' on baby's heart (looked like a white blob on the heart?)

She came back and told us that it's really common and not to worry, and they only worry if it's not getting any blood supply, which it is. There's no follow up planned or anything so she said all is absolutely fine.

Me being me decided to start Googling and I did see that it can indicate an increased risk of Down's syndrome :( I took the combined screening at 12 weeks and they gave me a 1 in 2729 risk of Down's syndrome, which is obviously low but it does make me worry knowing it could be more of a risk :(

Has anyone else had this?
