Maternity jeans/leggings

14 weeks, that stage where my jeans don't fit (I am a 6foot, kinda slim size 12) - they just roll down below my semi-bump...but don't think I'm bump enough for maternity clothes!

Bought an under the bump pair of topshop skinnies, they fall down sort of.

Any recommendations for tights/leggings for winter that won't fall down, or what to wear?! Nothing fits!

In 16 weeks and in the same position, I'm 5'3 and have bought expanders off amazon so I'm in my old jeans for now, following for the recommendations!

I have gap workout leggings which are great, super comfy. For normal leggings I just bought a size 14/16 and they work great. I have new look maternity jeans but I don’t actually find them very comfortable I always feel like they are falling down and I just don’t like the feeling of them.

Gap ones definitely the best I’ve worn

I bought 3 x h&m leggings and 2 x black longline not maternity vests from next which is what i have lived in with various maternity and non maternity stretchy tops over the top.

I'm 15+1 and bought some over-the-bump jeans and leggings from H&M in my normal size yesterday. I haven't worn them yet, but they seemed very comfortable. They didn't fall down - I'm quite slim (size 8) and my bump is not very big at all. If you're in the H&M Club you get 10%.

OP the problem you have is if something fits you now it likely won't fit when you get further along. I would get some cheaper clothes in larger sizes for the next few weeks then get maternity wear.

I brought under bump leggings and over bump workout maternity leggings from Gap to mainly exercise in. I had to wear them from 15 weeks and were all too big until I got to about 25 weeks. The over bump ones were then too tight at 34 weeks but the under bump ones were fine until about 3 weeks postpartum.

I brought maternity jeans from JoJo Mama BeBe that fitted at 18 weeks but were too small at 35 weeks. I had to stop wearing them at 6 weeks postpartum as they kept falling down. It then took me about 2 weeks before I realised my normal jeans would fit.

I also brought leggings from George at Asda at 20 weeks. I stopped wearing them when at 6 weeks postpartum and they started to get holes in them.

I'm 13 weeks and also finding maternity jeans too big but my normal jeans too tight. I've discovered River Island's pull up jeans for £30. The pair I have are called Molly but I think on their website it's now called Cici. They're a jegging rather than a jean but are firmer than the jeggings you'd get from New Look or the like.

I wore ordinary leggings in a bigger size until I was big enough for maternity jeans from NewLook.

If you're on a budget, I'd suggest getting a size or two up in leggings from Primark and go cheap. Worked fine through out my pregnancy, I'm 38 weeks with big bump and I was size 8 but I'm now wearing size 12 leggings from Primark and they've been fine for me. Maternity clothes are expensive so I've avoiding them! It's worth investing in jeans that have an over the bump belt, I got mine online for pretty cheap and they cover my bump quite well. Also still skinny jeans! x Smile

Id also suggest you invest in some comfy shoes that easily slip on, preferably without laces to do up. I got mine from Primark! SmileComfort is key the further you get along!

Get a bobble and thread it through the button hole on your original jeans so it is tied on, then use it with the button to close your jeans and wear a top that covers it. Will give you more room if the legs still fit.
