Has anyone tried the pregnancy gender wedding ring test? :)

I was talking to a lady about 2 weeks ago and i was saying how i don't know my baby's gender yet (ill be 9weeks in a few days) but can not wait to find out!!
She said her nan did this test with the wedding ring and string when she and some other people in her family were pregnant and apparently she got every single one of them right! I know its not an accurate gender test and i will have to wait for my scan at 20 wks to find out, but i thought why not do it see what happens if it actually works for me
Anyhow we did it and it told us i am supposedly having a boy haha
Has anyone done this? Has anyone done this and its turned out to be right?

The Chinese gender chart was correct for me if you haven't tried that one.

No I didn’t do the wedding ring thing, but the Chinese gender chart was wrong for all three of mine!
I find most methods are right 50% of the time

I did it twice at about 16 weeks. Once said boy and the second time said girl. It's bollocks.

We found out it's a girl at the 20 week scan!

The wedding ring test obviously has no accuracy at all. If you try it again with it just held out at arms length and think to yourself side to side - it will start swinging side to side. Then start thinking round and round, it will change to do the same.

That Chinese gender chart is totally wrong for my DS. As were all old wives' tales regarding signs and symptoms. My MIL was utterly shocked I had a boy as I had all the 'signs' of a girl. It's all bollocks aside from the scan!

Yeah i know its just abit of fun really..

My mum obsessively did this on my tummy for a whole week before we found out. Every single time it came back girl, and he's a boy.
