Boots scales!

I just found out that I'm pregnant and realised that for the last 6 weeks I've been weighing myself on the scales in boots, which say very clearly not to use if you are pregnant!

Does anyone know why? I'm terrified I've hurt my baby!

What does it entail? Don't you just stand on them? (I've never used them so sorry, don't mean for that to sound short) xx

These type of scales work by sending a small electrical current through you. I imagine the pregnancy warning is due legal liability rather than likely medical concerns. I very much doubt any harm has come to your baby.

It's just because scales that give your body fat % aren't accurate if you're pregnant. It won't have done you any harm.
