30 + 3 anterior placenta movements

So this is my first baby. I've felt tiny movements from about 16 weeks. My placenta is at the front which affects movement greatly. Baby has never really got into a pattern of movements. I thought it did, had a week of very active nights and mornings but this has slowed down now. I told my midwife this on Tuesday and she wasnt concerned and said she could see movement and maybe I just wasn't feeling it all. How do you ladies cope with this? I've been back and forward to l&d with reduced movements but everything is fine and even had a scan. Baby is measuring on the big side. ( 3 weeks ahead) but other than that nothing major . Any advice much appreciated!

I had this with my first.. Never felt very much apart from maybe a big roll around 10:30 at night! He was 9lbs at birth and so I don't think he had much room t stretch out.. My placenta then was at the back so the two things together would def make a difference for you I think!

I'm 37 weeks pregnant again and I have an anterior placenta and I don't feel too much jyst a few prods etc. X

smorgasborgen it's so frustrating isn't it? Movement is so different on a day to day basis. I find it really hard to know whether to panic about lack of movements, or if it's just the position of the baby.
