For the last few hours, I have had a constant pain in my vagina, I guess it might be the bsby engaging. I know contractions come and go but wasn't sure if a constant pain was anything unusual. I am 37+5 and far as I know waters haven't gone and mucus plug hasn't came away, well haven't noticed anything x

I would call the maternity unit for a bit of reassurance and advice if I were in this situation. Hope you feel better soon.

I already called and waiting on them phoning me back as got a receptionist who told me all where busy dealing with a few emergencies

I don’t think the baby engaging would cause a vagina pain per say. My bub was engaged around 36 weeks and I felt a lot of pressure but no pain (he has ‘disengaged’ now though).

They told me to only go in to them if my waters go. So they didn't seem worried and little man is still kicking away
