Just asking. Had a midwife appt yesterday at 35+6 weeks (so call it 36 weeks). Not having another one til I am 38+6 weeks (so call it 39 weeks). I thought it was supposed to be visits every week or 2 weeks from now on?
Merci! X

That's about right princess.

Oh it has changed since I had a baby. I saw the m/w every week in the last 4 weeks (mind you, it seemed excessive at the time)

checkout the NICE guidelines

Pg 40 has a table of when appointments should be depending on whether or not it's your first baby (and assuming a "normal" pregnancy)

I'm on fortnightly, but that's because I asked not to be referred back to the GP as they're a bunch of locums at my surgery right now and they're not fond of filling notes out or in fact giving a flying monkeys.

Had an appointment at 34, one today at 36 and am booked in for another at 38 too. 2nd pregnancy though, no idea what first timers get these days.

I'm going next week at 32 weeks. Then again at 36, 38 and 40.
