Can pregnancy vitamins make CM yellowish?

I’d just been taking folic acid on it’s own until around 12 weeks. Ive recently started taking a combined folic acid/vitamin tablet and have noticed that I’ve been having small amounts of jelly like, light yellow discharge. No smell or itching so I don’t think it’s anything nasty.

I’m thinking either parts of my mucus plug or just my new vitamins turning it slightly yellow.

I’m 13 weeks. Anyone else had similar?

When I first started taking vitamins my pee, cm and even skin went a bit yellow for several weeks. Its calmed down again now but it definitely made everything yellow for weeks.

In my experience yes. I took pregnacare all the way through my previous pregnancies and all through first trimester with this one. I had yellower than normal urine and yellowish (sometimes startlingly so!) disharge. No smell etc either and NAD in my urine samples so far so I assume it was due to the pregnacare.

I read there was a link between excess folic acid and tongue tie (which both previous babies had) so I’ve stopped the Pregnacare now that I’m 19 weeks. (Taking vitamin D alone). The colour of my urine/ discharge is now less yellow.

NB I haven’t done much research into the link I mention above so please don’t assume it’s true! I stopped in any case as the folic acid is only actively recommended for the first trimester.

In my case, yes. I took Pregnacare until I was 12 weeks and would often get bright yellow or greenish pee and yellowy or peach coloured discharge. I had tests to make sure and I didn't have any infections. As soon as I stopped taking Pregnacare all the funky colours went away!

How long did it take for the yellow discharge to go away after stopping the pregnacare please?

I am 11 weeks pregnant and have noticed my cm has been yellowish! Been almost tempted to call the GP as I wondered why it was yellow and is it an infection, but like you I have no symptoms on infection, I never even considered the pregnancare vitamins?! I know it turns my wee bright yellow I just never considered that could be the reason about the cm!

I have no idea about the Pregnacare... but a midwife told me that pregnancy does "funky things" (great medical lingo 🤣) to cervical mucus when I queried it!

I've had the same, sometimes it's just clear like ewcm but when quite abit comes out (sorry) it's very much got a yellow tinge ! I also had my first blob of creamy discharge the other day but that wasn't yellow lol
Also my wee is very yellow and smells very strong !
