Immodium in pregnancy

I'm only 5 weeks but have the most awful diarrhoea. Does anyone know if it's OK to take or has taken it and things have been OK? I looked online with Dr Google but can't find anything really conclusive?

I don't believe u can take diarrhoea medicine. Call your pharmacy to double check. Make sure u stay hydrated.

I wouldn't take it - just stay at home, stay warm and let it ride its course! Get well soon

Thanks ladies, ugh it's horrible. I can't decide if it's more annoying than vomiting! Both equally nasty I think!
