Hi everyone!
Just found out I am 4 weeks pregnant with my second child.
My first child is now 7 and after 47 hours of labor, I was 2cm dilated and my body went into shock and son's heart rate dropped.
I had told every person along the way I had Hypotonia, muscle disorder and struggled to contract my muscles.
It was awful and I'm absolutely petrified on how I will get this baby out 😢
I have chronic pain which the docs were testing to find out what was wrong but this has now been put on hold.
All we currently know is I have an auto immune disease.
And have Hypotonia.

Has anyone had another child after an emergency c section?
What did you choose?

Thanks everyone 💜

Elective section.

I just explained that after nearly losing my first and a poorly managed miscarriage there was no way i was interested in a natural birth.

They made me attend 2 apptments where they basically tried to talk -bully- me round but i was 1000% sure.

By the way my recovery after the ELCS was horrendous BUT at least it was my choice.

I am pregnant with 2nd baby. I had emergency c section for 1st and have chosen elective for 2nd. You have a right to choose!

First baby was emergency c-section, went for elective c-section with my second.

Went without a hitch and the recovery was quicker.

Had an emcs due to pre eclampsia 12 years ago. Very scary, wasnt prepared for what to expect and recovery took a while.

Had an elcs in march and it was a great experience. Calming, Healed really quickly, was up and about the next day and off all pain meds by day 4. Had no problems getting one, didnt have to attend any meetings i just told the midwife at my first appointment and that was that :)
