Positive pregnancy test 8 weeks after miscarriage, test showed negative 3 weeks ago

Hope you can help. Unfortunately we suffered a miscarriage circa 25 September. My partner did a pregnancy test on 29 October which showed negative. We did another one today which read positive, could this be a false alarm?

This happened to me OP, mc mid August, negative tests. BFP mid October. Hes now 2.5. Good luck

I doubt it, unless you think the test is faulty. It sounds like your partner has become pregnant this last cycle.

I would wait a day or two, then do another test for reassurance.

I had a miscarriage in mid April. Tests were negative by mid May. Got a positive in late June, and am now 25 weeks! Sounds like a new pregnancy, but wait a day or two and take another test to be sure.
