Sudden Loss of Symptoms

Hi all

I and 6w 3d pregnant and has been feeling nauseous, tired and jaded with sore boobs and erect nipples (sorry if TMI) however this morning I have woken up full of energy and feeling like I used to pre-pregnancy. No erect nipples and I keep prodding my boobs but tenderness has gone and they don’t feel as full. No nausea just very hungry.

I am aware that symptoms can fluctuate but I just wanted to see if you think I need to follow this up. Do I call doctors? Or wait it out for a bit? I have a private scan booked for Saturday as I was having lower abdominal pain on right hand side (which thankfully has now gone). I just want to check it’s in the right location.

I had had hcg measured at 3w and then 4 days later. It went from 89 to 779 in that time.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Many thanks

Hello,

I lost my symptoms at around 7-8 weeks and was really concerned. I ended up paying for a private scan and all was fine.

I think I am one of the "lucky" ones in that the only symptoms I've had is sleepiness and sore boobs. Had no sickness, nothing else. So when I felt perky and my boobs were fine I got panicked.

But all was fine.

Hi lantern, I would wait and see how you feel tomorrow, I've had days with no symptoms then they come ramping back full strength in the next day or two. If they disappear for about 3 days then I'd maybe phone your early pregnancy unit to see what they say. I'm sure it'll be nothing though. I also worried on the days my symptoms disappeared but then found myself regretting that the next day when I had my head down the toilet again!

Thank you toaster and ginger for taking the time to reply. You’ve helped calm me down. The support on mumsnet is amazing. I know logically that hormones and symptoms can fluctuate but it’s hard not to worry! I’m keeping busy and must leave my boobs alone - I was prodding them in Costa earlier ConfusedBlush

My breast soreness came and went all the time in my first trimester.

I'd go for days feeling absolutely fine, then back to feeling like death warmed up.

I'm 28 weeks now and haven't had breast soreness since about 12 weeks.

My advice would be to enjoy the reprieve while you can :)
